Excathedral is a San Antonio, TX based band formed in mid 2002 by Peyte Puentes and Siouxsie Asmodeus. The two met in school band (both not wanting to be in it) and started jamming the first time hanging out. The idea came up to start a band with Peyte on a 6 - string guitar, and Siouxsie originally on the 7 - string. The band was originally called Needlebrain, but has gone through many name changes over the years, including: Broken Humanity, Torture Cell, Kill Teddy, and Political Disturbance. After a few years and many lineup changes, the band has finally found their sound. With the addition of Josh Rodriguez (Torn Apart by Machines) on bass and Siouxsie's constant instrument changes (currently drums), they have improved their sound and performance.
